Job SummaryPlastic and reconstructive surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues, including eyelids and eyebrows, cheeks, orbit and lacrimal (tear) system. Eye plastic surgeons are ophthalmologists who have completed extensive postresidency training in this unique subspecialty. This is a highly specialized area of plastic surgery that focuses on the area around the eyes, forehead and midface. These include drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelid malposition (entropion, ectropion) and eyelash abnormalities.
