Additional Information About the RoleThe General Surgery floor is located on north campus in the Schoenberg Pavilion and is a bariatric center of excellence. The nurses care for patients who undergo innovative surgeries including plastic reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, endocrine oncology, and ophthalmology.Staff care for a variety of patients, including those experiencing minimally invasive, endocrine oncology, plastic reconstruction, orthopedics, ophthalmology, or bariatric surgeries. Our bariatric program is accredited as a Center of Excellence. We see patients from around the world who come to us for nerve and tendon transfers. You will constantly learn and grow in this ever changing environment.
